Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
“As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.
“Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful.
Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.

The merciful man does good to his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.

Your loving kindness, Yahweh, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.
For with you is the spring of life. In your light we will see light.
God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.

Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Women are supposed to be very calm generally: but women feel just as men feel; they need exercise for their faculties, and a field for their efforts, as much as their brothers do; they suffer from too rigid a restraint, too absolute a stagnation, precisely as men would suffer; and it is narrow-minded in their more privileged fellow-creatures to say that they ought to confine themselves to making puddings and knitting stockings, to playing on the piano and embroidering bags.
